Strategic Directions

Fellow Vets,

I have supported John McCain since his Exploratory Committee. When I was first approached about supporting John, I thought of all the disagreements I had with him. Then I thought harder and smarter, and understood that he is the man we need for Commander in Chief during a time of war. He is also a man of principles and moral values that has never taken the easy track. He got my support.

Last year, when his race was given up for dead, I stayed the course and supported John. When he was having his arms broken in the Hanoi Hilton he kept the faith with us. I can do no less than keep the faith with his strategic decisions for Michigan. Now John is poised to be our next President.

We have reached out to several hundred thousand veterans in our great State. Encourage them to keep the faith and trust John that he knows what he is doing. And what he is doing is positioning to win.

And if you think I am wrong, I ask you to consider this: If the opposition thinks Michigan is a done deal then why are they continuing to blanket the State with TV ads? Michigan is not a done deal and they know it. The veterans are going to make all the difference in this race, just like they did in Florida in 2000.

Back in the day we said Pompa non paraventi, Pumps not filters. Pump up the volume don't let Obama filters drown our message! Pump up the truth about ACORN, Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, his lack of experience, sit down with terrorists without pre-conditions, surrender on the battle ground.

Fair winds and following seas!
